🔍 DNS Record Checker

Checks whether a customer added their DKIM and Return-Path DNS records correctly — one click, right on their settings page.

Install: drag this button to your bookmarks bar:

Bookmarks bar hidden? Press ⌘⇧B (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+B (Windows).

Use it:

  1. Open the customer's account → Settings → Email & SMS communications.
  2. Open the DKIM Setup modal (the one listing the two DNS records).
  3. Click the Check DNS Records bookmark.

A panel appears with ✅/❌ for the DKIM (TXT) and Return-Path (CNAME) records, a plain-English reason for any failure (missing, truncated key, wrong CNAME target, not propagated yet…), and a Copy report button for pasting into a support reply.

Lookups run through Google and Cloudflare public DNS from your own browser — nothing is sent anywhere except the hostnames being checked. If the customer added a record minutes ago, give it a little time to propagate and click again.
